OK so I'm really embarrassed about this but I have to talk to someone about it. I just figured out that the clit and what you pee out of are two separate things. I don't know why I never knew that, and I feel like I'm so stupid and I figured it out with the help of my bf more or less and I'm embarrassed as hell. I guess I'm just wondering and hoping I'm not the only one who didn't know this?

But the sex ed classes I've had (every year since 4th grade starting with the period talk to now, senior year) my teacher's have told us the urethra opening is on the clit. What the fuck. My life is a lie. Someone please explain (and not rudely). 😂

I actually found that out when I was 14 lmao. You aren't alone. My friend and I were in a family bathroom together and she peed with her tampon in and I was so confused and asked her how she did it and she laughed so hard and explained it.

This reminds me of the scene from Orange is the New Black and Sophia (a trans woman) got so mad at the other women in the prison for not understanding where their urethra was. She drew a diagram and everything 😂😂😂 You're not alone though, sex ed isn't standardized and honestly even some good ones try to avoid showing the vagina and sometimes penis fully.
So here's the deal, you have labia majora (big outer lips), labia minora (smaller inner lips), the clit is found towards the front under a hood and the vagina cavity (which has the cervix inside which connects to the uterus) is further back. The urethra (pee hole) is a small hole between the clit and vaginal cavity. 
Here's a good tip to get to know your body, look up a medical diagram and keep it handy. Then go to a room alone that is well lit and get comfortable. Take a mirror and try to identify all your parts. You can also just use this as a chance to see your vagina and become comfortable with how unique your vagina is.

It's unfortunately something that a lot of people (even women) think at first. It's not that you're dumb, it's just that someone didn't properly educate you on your anatomy. I didn't even know the term "vagina" until I was like...12 or 13. And thought my period was coming out of the same place my pee came out of until that point.
