How long is heated breast milk good for?

So I pumped this morning, it's been in the fridge all day. I just fed my LO from the boobs and heated an oz in a bottle. She only took half an ounce so she still has another ounce. How long is it good for? I want to use it for my next feeding in probably 2 or 3 hours or so. Can I leave it out or should I refrigerate it?

I got told by the doctors and nurses when my little one had an operation at 4 days old that when you pump and leave it in room temperature it is only good for 2 hours maximum!

Everything I've read has said throw out milk at the end of a feeding.

Around two days, but always check the milk first. Smell or taste it if you suspect it's bad, if there's a sour smell throw it out.
