Plz help wt do I do

I'm 16 my bf is turning 18 in October. I love him very much n I don't want to lose him. Last year I had to go to court cause of a guy Tht tried to expose me to others without my consent. My dad is racist n wanted me to take a break from dating for a year or so. Well it would be a year in November. My bf is black n I'm white. I don't want to break up with my bf I should be allowed to be happy I don't complain abt my parents marriage so why do they want me to be miserable. They can't keep me away from dating forever. I told my mom abt my bf but my dad doesn't know yet. Idk how to tell him it's awkward for me can someone help me
