Fertility specialist

So I went to the doctors about my blood work. They said that all blood work came back satisfactory but my hormone bloods showed that I may not have ovulated but she also said that this was probably due to the timing of the bloods being took. I told her I got a positive opk a day before the bloods and she said that this was probably why I got the negative result.

I asked her what our next step is and she is now referring us to a fertility specialist and I will be getting a letter at some point soon for a referral. She said that they might not find anything wrong but that is our next step.

Has anyone on here had this experience as I would love to gain as much information as possible and hear your stories. I have no idea what to expect. I'm in the UK so I'm not sure if the process is different in other places xxx
