I've never orgasmed

I'm 16 and have never orgasmed despite my efforts. I have masterbated and been sexual with other people, but every time I feel like I'm about to reach a peak it just stops leaving me angry and frustrated. I'm a virgin and sometimes I feel maybe that's the problem and I need to have sex to fix it, but I don't think I'm ready for that just yet. What should I do? Is there something wrong with me?
