Swishing drinks around in mouth before swallowing

Since I was little, every time I drink anything, I swish it around in my mouth before I swallow. It's really hard for me to drink something without doing it (except hot drinks). People have made fun of me for it, and my boyfriend teases me about it now. I've tried to swallow drinks "normally," but I have a lot of trouble doing it! Does anyone else do this?
