TMI?! Mucus plug/bloody show?

Question

I was in the hospital for a week for preterm labor. The night i get home i get this but a lot more except coming out. I'm currently 35 weeks. Does this look like my mucus plug/bloody show? I'm fully aware that it can grow back but I'm 5cm and 80% thinned out. Tia

It does look like your mucous plug, but as it regenerates and can be lost again and again before labor, it's possible that you're dilating but labor is still a ways off. I've lost mine already (at 25 weeks) and haven't had any problems. Just mind your contractions if you're having them, and definitely let your doctor know that you lost it at your next appointment if things don't progress now. They'll want to check your cervix more frequently if you've lost your plug. Especially before 37 weeks
