How bad do rib tattoos hurt?!

For anyone who has a rib tattoo, how bad did it hurt. I'm quite thin and was told it is one of the more sensitive spots since it will be hitting bones. The tattoo artist I talked to said it should be fine since the tattoo is so small. I'm scared, but I really want this tattoo!

Honestly for me, it wasn't really that painful. There were some spots that were pretty uncomfortable but it would only last for a few seconds. mine took two hours and it define try didn't feel like two hours; it felt like my tattoo artist had just started. but I may just have a really high pain tolerance. I will say one thing my artist said to me:

"the pain isn't going to last forever but your tattoo will. If that is where you want it get it there, because if you change your mind because you're scared of the pain that might be there you could end up regreting it."

I got this one done last year, didn't hurt too bad the first half hour. But the last hour brought a bit of tears. Super tender but worth it!

I have 2 on my ribs. A smaller one and one that goes from next to my boob past my hip. And it honestly didn't hurt at all. The people who say it hurt are babies haha

I don't have a tattoo on my ribs, but I'd like to get one! I do have 2 on my feet and people said that was a painful spot...it didn't hurt for me. Everyone's different when it comes to pain. But if you really want it, go for it! The pain's only temporary and the result will be worth it!!!!!

Ive got one. I was pretty thin then. It honestly didn't hurt like everyone said. There was some discomfort, but it was less painful that other ones I've had done.
