Bf goes to his female friends for relationship advice but if I say I'm gonna go to my guy friends for advice  . He says it's a bad idea as they just gonna try to get with me. He even talked to his ex about our relationship... weird right

I don't agree with the "you shouldn't talk to anyone else about your relationship" mentality. People need to talk to each other to share and gain insight. If you are an important part of your boyfriend's life, he should be able to talk to his friends about you (in a kind way, of course). My boyfriend talking to his ex wouldn't bother me. I see no issue with my boyfriend talking to his female friends. Honestly they've given him good advice and have a female perspective that he sometimes needs. Granted there are certain thins he'd never talk about with other friends. Fights, insecurities, our sex life- those are off limits and stay in our relationship. If he talked to an ex I'd have a serious issue with that. My boyfriend is friends with his ex but he knows that I am not comfortable having her involved in our relationship like that. BUT I can talk my my guy friends about our relationship as well. Him saying it's ok for him to talk to girls but you can't talk to guys is rude and controlling in my opinion. I've got one particular guy friend that I've always gone to for relationship advice. He's never tried to get with me- I'm his friend and he helps me out just like any female friend would. People need to stop the whole 'men can't be friends with women and only look at them as conquests' mentality. Is completely unfair to men. And it's also unfair to you because even if one did try to get with you your boyfriend should trust you enough to know God turn them down. Your boyfriend really needs a reality check.

He shouldn't be discussing your relationship with other people, but I assume he goes to his female friends for an insight into the female mind. Going to his ex was definitely a mistake though

He shouldn't be discussing your relationship or you with other girls especially an ex... you should tell him that is not acceptable especially since he doesn't want you discussing your problems with your male friends. A relationship is between 2 people
