Lights on or off during sex?

The hubs and I always have sex in the dark at night when we goto bed but the other day we got at it during the day when a good rain storm rolled through. I felt as though it took me the longest time to fully relax because I was being "watched" and it wasn't dark in our room LOL. It's like the eye contact almost freaked me out. I did orgasm at the end. I am 100% in love with my husband and I am not ashamed of my body but I was sexually abused when I was younger. Am I weird or does anyone else feel this way sometimes? 🤦🏽‍♀️🙃

I prefer lights off and feel uncomfortable being so exposed. Has nothing to do with my husband. He’s lovely and would be happy to have lights on. I just despise my body and can’t get into anything if I feel exposed. Not super healthy. But I’m working on it. 
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it either way.

I think you should see someone for therapy, you shouldn't be that uncomfortable to have sex in the light. You might have some deep repressed feelings and you should really talk to someone about it

I usually have them off or just a dimly lit table lamp with soft lighting. Not super bright lights.

I kinda feel safe with the light on and it helps me know what my partner is feeling whether his faking it or not.

We both usually have some sort of light on, even if it's just a cell phone flashlight, because we like to enjoy the show

My lights are almost always off.. but I wanna see me and him... ✌🏻I want them on! but coming from where you've been.. be patient with your self! Heck! You're dealing with trauma 🌈
