boyfriend scared of wedding?

okay so my bf and i were talking about marriage and he said he’s not scared of commitment or marriage but he’s scared of like the actual wedding? has anyone else heard of this? is this a red flag? i just don’t know how to feel about this.

I wouldn't worry about it, my partner is pretty much the same, he wouldn't hesitate to propose or get married but if he's never liked the idea of having a wedding, he'd rather just get married on our own. Personally I don't really like it and if I ever did get married I would want a wedding, but I understand, maybe they just don't like the idea of so many people watching them in that type of setting, I don't really know how to explain it but I think a lot of guys are like that. He may change his mind later down the track especially if he realises how much you would want a wedding. I definitely wouldn't consider it a red flag.
