Hi ladies hope you are all doing well! I’m not sure if anyone had seen my two previous posts about reduced movement and what they class as movement things like that, but I would just like to thank each and every person who told me to do the checks hot bath, food etc and if not to ring up the hospital so thankyou!!

So I guess it’s my turn to tell you all bout my crazy little birth story, Tuesday night very late and early Wednesday morning my little baby was bouncing around just like he usually did 😌 me having a hectic Wednesday a very emotional one at that I hadn’t know that my little one hadn’t been moving until it was late that day, after feeling him but the kicks being very Week and very minimal I new something wasn’t right but could pull myself to do anything so as a first timer I went to the internet and searched and asked for answers Thursday came by and I had my midwife check up so I was going to mention their about movement on the way I had felt him kick but still he seemed very very week. I get in the office mention it get measured and they tell me I’m measuring 25 weeks but because baby was transverse that could be why so me being me I put it to bed and didn’t think anything of it 😫 so Friday very early again I stay up anxiously waiting for my little bub to make his debut and have a party in my stomach, my face grew bigger as I felt him squirming around I figured he was just having a tired day but 7am came and I just wasn’t feeling like it was right still so I ring up and they say be at city hospital at 10 so I get their with my mum and little sister. All hooked up to the machine 1 hour goes but and it’s about 11:30 maybe later and little bubs heart drops to 84 😵 at first I though it was mine but then realised when I was using the Doppler the night before I had gotten that result aswell but passed it as mine, so surely not a little coincidence? 🤷🏻‍♀️ so they tell me I’m being rushed for a scan as he’s on the small side which I get their gel on the belly and they say little one has no fluid around him and the cord isn’t giving a great flow 🤦🏻‍♀️ so then it sets in oh shit what’s going to happen they tell me to go back and be monitored again and they’d tell me the results so it’s about 1:10 and a consultant comes in and says we think it’d be best if you was to have the baby before 35 weeks that being said she goes and another lady comes in moment later with about 5 other people and says your going to have to deliver we want your baby out as baby is not happy in their so okay I nod and my mother piped up and said how long what’s the time frame... 30 minutes 😮😮 like what so as this is all happening it’s like my mind is playing blanks and I just don’t realise so as I’m signing the paper for an emergency C-section and being stabbed and prodded and undressed and gowned it finally hit me that I’ve just signed to pretty much be cut open so while all that’s happening I’m crying because my partner is 2 hours away working 😟 Thankfully I have my mum so I’m being wheeled into theatre and very calm... to calm for my liking I’m having everything numbed and things fitted mum comes in dressed and sits down and holds my hands and thats it really I wasn’t told they had started it just happens they pulled my little bub out and little one is crying away delivered at 2:03pm the 27th of October and weights 2.4 oz my little champ was born.

Some little complications amniotic band which id not a clue even existed 🤷🏻‍♀️ so my little bub is born a special one at that and has the punk sign 😌 still my special little warrior, pulled the breathing tubes out and was told he is breathing far to much to be on the machine so no breathing machine for him/her I say that because baby has a penis but testicals haven’t dropped and have to rule out everything so baby has had blood tests don’t to see if he’s a she or a he also had tests done to see if he has an infection due to high white blood count but also he pee pee whole is a little lower down but either way everything can be fixed time to wait for the results so I can actually name baby although before knowing all of this I’ve named baby Lucas William Shaw and looks spit of his daddy.

It’s been two days and I finally got to hold my little one 😌

Little bub has been taken of his cpp machine for an hour. Also got to hold him when he was having time of the machine. 💙
