Anyone with Celiacs Disease on this app?

How bad is it? How do you cope w it?

My case of celiac is quite bad, I've had it since I was a baby but they only found it once I turned 13 years old so by the time they figured out what the problem was I had quite bad scaring in my small intestine. I've been on a gluten free diet since the same day I found out about having it, at first it was horrible as I didn't know how many products had gluten,wheat barley in! But now I find it easy as I'm use to the routine and I know now what I can and can't have, and most restaurants now have gluten free menus but I still get really bad symptoms even though I've been gluten free for 5 years so I do sometimes take pain killers and vitamin supplements.

My little cousin has it. It's very hard for the family in general because we are Italian. We're trying though. My cousin literally makes all her food and brings it with her. We buy or make special treats during birthday parties. Or yesterday for example my cousin went ahead and made a special pumpkin cookie for her. Luckily she's young so she won't know a difference. We literally read everything now.

Me! It’s not too bad once you get used to it. There are more and more options in stores, and a lot of restaurants are getting better too!
