Relationship Help!

I'm in high school and there is this boy a year older than me that keeps texting me. My best guy friend gave him my number because apparently he was asking about me a lot. We talked for about a week and I discovered he had a sweet, funny and great personality. I had never seen him before so I decided to look at his insta and he's really cute which took me by surprise because he isn't a total douchebag like most every guy at our school and is hella funny. He is truly amazing and we have been texting all night for awhile(he's so funny I can't breathe sometimes) I can see something coming out of it, however I have some concerns. I am a tomboy type and have really bad depression/anxiety so it makes it hard for me to trust people with my heart. I never do but I'm falling for this boy quickly and it's scaring me. Also he rushes things which I'm not comfortable with, I heard bad things about him (as well as good) and I feel like we need to talk more in person. I'm sorry for this long post but advice? Please?
