Red spots on deli sliced turkey?

My husband purchased some deli turkey today and I opened it and several of the slices have little red spots on it. what is this? Is it safe to eat? This is honey turkey btw

Doesn’t look like good quality lunch meat. Do a smell test when in doubt lol

It's normal, just like chicken. As others have mentioned though, this meat looks wet which is very off putting.

I see those pretty often in deli meat, but it creeps me out so I cut it off and don't eat that part. But my parents have always said it's safe. Lol

It looks gross to me. I’d throw it or bring it back. You actually can do that. I got home from Walmart and found mold on my cheese. They immediately refunded me and apologized.

More concerning than the red spots is how slimy that meat looks...I would not eat that. It looks old.

It is normal. It’s just the cut of the meat. If you’re scared of t then cut out the part with he red.

It may be seasoning. Idk its hard to tell without actually seeing them.
