Why do people say daddy during sex?

My partner and I are always up for different things in the bedroom but he's a firm HELLLLLL NO on the subject. What do people get out of it? Is it worth a go or is it a strange as it seems at face value?

If you're not comfortable with it, don't do it. It's weird to me, "daddy" is what I use to refer to my father, but to his face I call him dad. I suppose others use it as someone who is "in charge". You'll never hear me say, "Fuck me daddy!", I cringe having had those words go through my mind and typing them.

I like it because it's kinky, and I never was close to my dad. He was more of a friend I saw every once in awhile, so I don't compare the word daddy to anything.

Idk I always thought it was weird then one day I was messaging with my boyfriend (not sexting) and he said about doing something for daddy (meaning him) and I started saying it as a joke because i thought it was funny he had said that but now we use it in a sexual way
I think because my dad is a sperm donor and my parents are lesbians

My ex used to love that. I thought it was disgusting. He would beg for me to say it and I admit I have a few time to him. When we broke up I was so happy I would never have to say that in that way again.

I call my father daddy, so saying it to my husband would just be nauseating to me. I did slip up once in a regular conversation and called him daddy. 😂😂 in my defense we were talking about my father literally 2 minutes beforehand and it just kind of slipped out but it was a HELL NO for both my husband and I.

I don’t even call my own father “daddy” because I’m 27 years old and its weird. 
To me, our children are going to call my BF daddy one day and that’s the only way I’ll use it is when I’m talking about him to them, so putting a sexual connotation to it is just weird for me.

It's a power thing, for what a Dad is like. I never introduce the word into sexual play, but if he asks for it. Then I would say it easily. Because for me I didn't have a father figure, so it's easy for me to just use it as any other word. But mommy? yeah no. No guy could ever call me that.

My husband WILL not let me say this, if I did, he would automatically be turned off. I've never been into the daddy thing either, it's awfully weird to me 😬. Just my opinion, obviously plenty of other people enjoy it.
