Friends with benefits - but we like each other?

So me and my guy friend occasionally hang out and always hook up after. He's lovely: never makes me feel used for just sex, is a genuinely great friend, we have the most amazing sex ...and confessed to having mutual feelings for me. But he's not ready for a relationship. I wasn't at first but now I feel like I am. I don't know how to communicate that with him without losing him as a friend.

Any advice? 😭
