Should I stop my friends from going on a date and potentially getting hurt? (Read description for more plz... IMPORTANT INFO!)

My good friend and I aren’t on the best of terms right now and she is going on this date with a guy who has a bad rep, she’s lying to her mom and saying she is going out with her friend, and 2 people have already tried to talk her out of it but she is so driven by her hormones she isn’t listening and doesn’t see this kid is a fuckboy.... should I still try and talk her out of it? Or let her get hurt?

I didn’t vote because I don’t have a definite yes or no. If other people who are close to her have nicely tried to talk to her out of it already, I don’t see the point in trying. It sounds like she’s already got it all planned out and wants to go. I think you should voice your opinion but you can’t force her not to do something that she is set on doing. If it’s not meant to be she will learn... sometimes that’s the only way & maybe it’s best she experiences it. It’s sad but it’s true.

She has to make her own mistakes in order to learn. If you’re worried about her safety make sure you know where they’re going so you can get her if needed. Let her know your concerns but don’t try to tell her what to do
