Have you ever Heard of the 5 love Languages? If not, it's a book, read it. I can almost guarantee one of your love languages is quality time, and he doesn't speak it. It is not one of his love languages and if it is it is not a high priority one for him. Move on, find a good guy who doesn't play video games all the time and speaks your language!  I hated being put to the side for a video game by one of my exes. Nothing made me feel more unwanted than him staying up all night playing those dumb games while I laid in bed alone. A few years later I found a guy who would rather be outside than play video games, we speak the same love language and we are Happy! Been together 5 years married for 1.

Honestly if you love him, work on it. Find games you both can enjoy, go to the arcade get more interested in his hobbies. 
Make compromises for each other, learn to love each others faults.
