What religion am I?

Question

I know this sounds crazy,  but I am a big believer in God and Christ, I pray, I have been to church but so much now.
I believe that God does not judge for same sex marriages etc or from sex before marriage.
I am TTC but not yet married (it’s in the future) and I have had sex out of wedlock before.. my friends say I should stop calling myself a Christian because of my ways.. so should I?? What am I?

The definition of Christian is that you beleive in God and that His son is Jesus Christ. If you beleive that you're Christian. Christianity has a ton of different denominations (Catholic, Anglican, Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, etc). You don't have to identify with a specific denomination to be Christian. I know lots of people that are Christian, but don't follow a specific church/denominational set of rules.

Your beliefs and your actions are at odds with one another. You can call yourself Christian but you ate hot living like one. All Christians sin and do not live as they should, but if they are at least trying to live correctly as Christ has commanded, then they are demonstrating their love for Him by their works. But if faith has no works, if there is no repentance of sin, then the faith is false and it is dead. 
There are many other Christian's in this world that live and believe as you do. It is not the way of the original Church but that is how modern Christianity is interpreted.

Actually, to correct the below response, “Christian” means literally means “little Christ.” It was original derogatory but wary believers liked it and adopted it. What this means is that Christians don’t pick and choose what laws of God they follow based on their likes. That’s idolatry. That’s making you the lawgiver and the one that decides which laws are right and good and which are wrong and bad. In Christianity, God is God and I follow Him, not me. While a Christian doesn’t live a perfect life, an unregenerate life with a heart that doesn’t desire to follow God is a life that should be heavily questioned. I always encourage people in this situation to ask if their faith is merely cultural or actually real. If so, it doesn’t matter what I want to believe, it only matters what is. Christianity is one of the least subjective views out there. It’s either biblical or isn’t, and a Christian must follow through on those. Again, picking and choosing is the idolatry of self since we’re elevating ourself above God.
