I don’t believe in dictating what my kid should like or be drawn to simply based on their gender. I’ll probably do a nursery with blue AND pink, and other colors. Maybe a space theme or a nature theme. I just do not want to perpetuate gender stereotypes in my home. They will get it too much from society at large anyway. I don’t want to add to it in my own home. The baby can choose whether she likes super heroes or he likes ballet. Or she can like flowers and he can like trains and trucks. But I want it to be their choice not mine.
