I asked my boyfriend if he would marry me SOMEDAY and he said “maybe.”

We have a 1.5yo and have been together for almost 3 years. My 4yo adores him. He was married before and lost a lot of money when he got divorced but that was in MA. We live in ND which is NOT a common property state. Boy is crazy and I’m really not sure if I can keep wasting time like this. He took me to see a huge house and said he was thinking of getting it (we’re living in separate homes right now), and silly me, I thought he was showing me because he wanted us to all move into it. Asked me if I wanted to see the inside of it. I said sure, of course. A few weeks later asked him if he wanted to schedule an appointment for it with our realtor he said no he wasn’t even thinking of buying it anymore. I asked why not he said it was too expensive he didn’t need that much space, I pointed out that I could help with the cost if I wasn’t paying rent where I live now he practically freaked out and acted like he thought us moving in together was insane. Idk man... I’m beyond over this bullshit... you see my face???
