Is the spelling Eavie too much?

I really want the name Eavie for a girl. I didn’t want to spell it eve because I didn’t want people calling her “eev” and for some reason the spelling Evie just looks weird to me. I like it better with the a in there. 
Do you think it’s still ok?

My daughter Evelyn goes by Evie. She was named for my grandma who went by Evelyn except my grandpa who called her Evy...we like the -ie spelling better but for both my daughter and grandma we pronounce it Evh-ee not eee-vee.
