Doctors ??

I’m going to the doctors to ask about something- but I’m also thinking of taking advantage of the time to ask about contraception options and Pap smears..... but I found out it’s a male doctor, is it just me or do you guys feel uncomfortable talking abut certain stuff wirj doctors??

Both my primary doctor & my obgyn are males & they’re amazing doctors. They’re professional, yet have great personalities. So, that makes it easier to be comfortable with them.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I requested to be seen by a male doctor or his wife who were both in the same practice. Reason being in my experience male doctors are gentler and listen better to concerns. This male doctor delivered my daughter and if he didn't move I would've had him delivery my second child. I don't try to make decisions based on their gender. If you go in and he give you the creeps don't stay. But if he seems like a normal doctor what's the problem?

I'm 33 and I have only ever seen Male doctors. I'm just more comfortable with them. They're highly trained to answer all your questions without judgment.

I have no issue talking to doctor male or female.
My gynecologists from age 15-28 was males.
Recently started seeing female gynecologist when I switched insurance.

It's their job. Personally this is why I request a female doctor only because only man I want touching my vagina is my man lol. But my first pregnancy I did have men and women drs the men just did their job they don't care about your vagina since they see 100s a day probably.

You are only supposed to go to the doctor for one thing at at time. Otherwise, you are taking advantage of other people’s time, causing wait times to increase.
