Birth control

I posted this in other groups.

So I take the pill form of birth control. And I’m usually good at taking the pill every morning once I wake up for work. If I forget in the morning I take it the same day but after I get home from work. Well I flew back to my hometown for a few days and forgot to take them for 2 days. My bf and I are obviously having sex and he doesn’t wear a condom so I know my chances of pregnancy. On Monday I started to cramp and then a few hours later I started my period. I’ve still been taking my pill cause I only had this week left before the sugar pills. Is it normal to start your period early if you miss 2 days? Should I stop taking the pills? I used to get the shot and use nuvaring before pills so this is all kinda new to me 🙃.

*side note: the last time my bf and I had sex was the Saturday before I left so almost 2 weeks ago. Idk if that is relevant or not.
