Shaving “Down There”

What is the best way that y’all have found to get rid of your hair down there? I have an INSANE amount of it and I would love for it to be gone, but every time I’ve tried just doing part of it for like a swimsuit or whatever, it hurts like hell the next few days. Do other people have this problem? Has anyone found solutions?

My other problem (this might be a little tmi but none of you actually know me so I’ll continue) is that it doesn’t just grow on the front, but it goes all the way down the sides of my lips and thins out into baby hairs around my ass hole. I have NO CLUE if that’s normal, but please please please if anyone has any suggestions for how to get rid of it without it hurting, please let me know.
