First Time??

I’m a 19 y/o virgin and just experienced my first kiss last night. He wanted to take it further but I told him I wasn’t ready. Is it wrong/weird that I’d like my first time to be with someone I’m in a strong relationship with? Most of my friends have already lost their virginity and I feel like I’m the odd one out.

Don’t feel odd at all. You take all the time you need. Sex has a lot of emotions. Some of which when I was 19 I could barely handle.

Don't feel like the odd one out, or like you're late! 19 is so young, and honestly you're going to enjoy it soooo much more because you waited until you were at least over 18. Not at all. I lost mine at 17, and I wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the person, I trusted them, and I expected to be in a relationship with for a while. We’re now engaged and I couldn’t be happier. He’s definitely my other half.

It’s not a race all my friends was like 13-14 when they lost their and I was 15 I was in no hurry it just kinda happened

I don’t think so I was 19 when I lost my virginity but it was with my current partner who I new I was going to be with in a serious relationship with. You should do what’s comfortable for you, you wouldn’t want to rush into something that you later would regret because all your friends were doing it. Hope this helps 😊
