Idk if im overthinking this. So my boyfriend and i established we were "exclusive" last november and started dating thus january. So apparently he was contemplating hooking up with someone last december but didnt. This was after we were exclusive and before we actually were boyfriend and girlfriend. Is this cheating or should i let t go?

He was “contemplating” doing it? No that’s not cheating. If he did actually hook up with someone else or make it known to the other person that he was sexually attracted to them/thinking about hooking up with them then that’s cheating

How can you be exclusive but not BF and GF? That doesn’t make sense to me. Exclusive means exclusive to each other, whether you use the titles or not, that’s exactly what it is.

Try telling him you also contemplated sleeping with some other guy (make up some details about the fake guy) and act accordingly to his reaction.
