Tips on moving on?

May be a little off topic.

22 y/o.. going to be 23 next month. Man I thought I was going to be with forever and fell in love with recently told me he wants to talk to other people. Me and him were exclusive for over a year but never together because he said he needed to work on his “career”, he’s 30.

It’s kind of hard because my family is close with him no one really knew what was going on (besides my mom and she now dislikes him).

I need to be able to get over him and live with the fact that he’s still going to be in my life. Help anyone :( I literally pictures myself marrying him.
