He wants to start using condoms 👎🏼👍🏼

I’m currently on nexplanon. Hoping to switch to the depo shot. And he looked it up since he saw that it’s 94% to 99% affective he wants to use condoms. Because he doesn’t want to stuck with a kid. And I don’t want a baby right now or anytime soon.

Which is kinda strange since we’ve been together almost 7 years and we’ve never used condoms only the first year or so.

I’ve been wanting to stop using BC for a while now cause the it’s been driving me crazy. I’ve been on it for 5 years. Just give my body a break.

So should I just stop taking BC since he wants to begin using condoms ? Im just really confused on what path I should take.
