I'm shy about announcing my pregnancy to family especially. I feel it's like announcing to people we've had a lot of sex recently since we got pregnant within a month of our marriage and we're Christian so hadn't had any sex before marriage. What are your thoughts? Does anyone feel shy about announcing that you're pregnant? Did anyone get pregnant very soon after marriage?

I know several couples who have gotten pregnant as soon as they got married. A lot of people have "honeymoon babies". And there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed off. Everyone invluding Christians know sex is a beautiful thing that a married couple should enjoy.

I was a little shy too but I feel like after they know it's a baby coming they don't focus on the sex part they're just excited they're a little on on the way

Hi, I didn't get pregnant until 8 months into marriage and had the same nervousness. However I then realized, ' we're grown, married and as expected, having sex. It should be expected that pregnancy would most likely be the next step'. I'd say talk to your hubby and boost your confidence. Remember together you're stronger and that little baby is just proof of a healthy bond and sex life.
PS. You're lucky it happened so soon whether you were trying on purpose it not it's a blessing many don't have.
