What products do you use on your Little One

Question

This is Jari He is 8 months old. This is what I currently use on his hair but is open to maybe trying something else on his hair. Also moms who Little one hair may be dry what do you use for it and how has it helped. Jari hair is dry only in the spots that he lays on. For the most part he has a decent texture of hair. Any recommendations.

I use natures blessings ( a hair grease ) , real black castor oil on his scalp & Camille rose hair milk to curl it up . I also use water my son is 1

Hey gurl, I’m going to try and find the link for a baby bonnet website for you. Some say it’s “girly” but unless your ready to put him in a durag i genuinely believe it helps ALOT. Or try changing the pillow he lays his head on to a silk pillow case. Cotton fabric dries and mattes the hair. Also a daily regimen i recommend is a spray bottle which you can get for a dollar. Use WARM water and pour a little castor, coconut oil,  jojoba oil, or u could use pure MANGO SEED oil i believe it works the best on kids, from what i witnessed it really helps with length and adds volume. Okay where was i? Ok. Warm water, pour a little oil in it, THEN spray a little to lightly dampen the hair and use another oil something that rubs in your hand and rub it throughout the hair. Apply bonnet. With a daily regimen like this you’d probably wanna wash his hair once even twice a week. Also do not be afraid to style his hair, styling is a way to stretch hair and increase length and productivity of hair follicles. Do some little Chinese bumps, with the lil baby scrunchies, or a puff in the front a puff in the back, Twist it for the night after you spray it, even if it comes out in the morning i promise you it will promote growth. Keep us updated! I added a picture of where u can get the bonnet and the types of mango oil to look out for. There’s actually another brand i prefer big If i find it I’ll let you know.

I use Johnson’s baby shampoo but daily I put a mixture of coconut oil and Shea butter on my daughter’s damp hair. It helped fill in her bald spot in the back big time.
