my bf that was physically abusive to me ..

should i believe him if he tells me he thinks about how he hurt me everyday and it haunts him , he doesn't wanna be that person and he is in love with me all this bs. He's so convincing and i feel like he honestly means it like he wants to mean what he says but there's something mental there's anger where he will just do it anyway eventually i know he will .

it's like he's the most loyal person and will do anything in the world for me he practically worships me his goal is marriage and he's traditional yet i don't get why he has been abusive in the past this really fucks with your brain help me .
