A poem on the corrupt world we live in...

Lillian

Tomorrow isn’t a gift

It’s a sentence

Everyday we drift

Far from nature

We lose connection

As the world around us

Has a ugly complexion

Slowly it disappears

We try to grasp on

As we all relise

We’re too far gone

This is desolation

The sea the system

All broken

Due to are dumb wisdom

Almost more plastic than fish

The pollution we created

We post on the media

Waiting for it to be updated

Only to make us regret

Thousands of years of evolution

Disposed of

Due to the great illusion

We created

The big corporations

Feeding of greed

Drowning every nation

As we watch helpless

Yes this is your life

Choose your path

But don’t lead with strife

Destroying the good

What’s right or wrong

At the end of the day

Life might as well be a song

Who cares

I said who cares

With suicide rates so high

Everyone gets a scare

But like I said who cares

We watch and wait

For change to happen

But what if we’re too late

We have done this, us
