My job

I hate my job.

Like....really hate it. Like I hate it so much that if I wasn't who I was and I could afford to just not show up tomorrow I totally would.

I'm in middle/upper management. I make decent money, but not anywhere near what a lot of other people in other companies in similar positions do. My company doesn't care. There was a department that was parallel to mine, very similar in job title and description, and the company basically fired the whole department. Says a lot about my job security.

I'm complacent, and I just don't care anymore. I've started looking for another position but it's a pretty specialized field/position so it's going to take awhile. In the meantime I'm stuck doing something I hate but that pays my bills.

Lol where's a lottery windfall when you need one?
