Day of Transfer: Washing using Unscented Soaps?!

Question

Has anyone been instructed to use unscented soaps, shampoos, face wash the shower before your transfer? What about washing your clothes in unscented detergent/fabric softener so the scent is not on your skin? What about unscented deodorant?
My clinic told me no perfumes/scented lotions, etc... the day of the transfer, which is fine. They told me specifically to use unscented deodorant. But, I am just curious how far I should go with this?! What is everyone else doing...if anything?

Ours said no strong scented anything. So we just went no soap/no shampoo etc that day until after the transfer. Then on went the deodorant haha

I bought unscented shampoo, conditioner, face wash and hair gel (for my husband) for our first IVF. I still have it but it’s almost three years old. I will probably use it just to be on the safe side. 
Our clinic just says no perfume/cologne and no scented lotion. She said deodorant was fine but I will probably only put a very little bit on.

I used my husband's body wash he uses when hunting and unscented deodorant.
