Recently, I went to visit my boyfriend after not seeing him (and obviously not having sex) for over a month. In the week that I visited him, we had sex maybe 5 times. The first and second time were fine, but after that I started having terrible UTI symptoms. I thought maybe I was dehydrated, so I drank a ton of water and it mostly went away. We then had sex 3 more times over the course of the next couple of days. The symptoms came back and I started feeling incredibly itchy inside my vagina, along with the UTI symptoms like burning when I pee, pain in the bladder area, etc. So, we didn’t have sex any more the rest of the trip, and when I got home the symptoms went away completely. Have you guys ever experienced something like this? Do you think it’s because I didn’t have sex for a while? I’ve never been away from my boyfriend for this long. I’m also more prone to UTIs normally, but it’s just weird that the symptoms went away. It’s just very frustrating because it puts a huge damper on our sex life. Does this happen to anyone else? I wanted to post on here before calling my doctor, just to see what people had to say. Thanks :)
