Fear of contracting HIV
So back in February of 2019. I worked in a hospital and I touched a patient without gloves bodily fluids and he had HIV. ( an emergency incident had happened so my main thought was trying to keep the patient alive.) I didn’t know he had HIV until after that happened and he tested positive. Once I found out I went to my doctor and got tested for HIV and it came back negative. I’ll get tested again in August of 2019. But that’s a very long time to wait!! I want to get tested again since it’s May now. I might sound crazy but every time I stroll down YouTube or Facebook I see ads or videos about HIV. Which is making me paranoid because it’s so strange that I keep seeing it. I’ll be going to my primary doctor in a couple of days so I could get tested again since it’s been about 3 months. I look up the symptoms sometimes and I don’t have the symptoms but at the same time you don’t have symptoms so that’s what making me even more paranoid!
