My guy best friend got feelings for me shortly after we met and he still has them now after almost 2 years. I don't know if I love him as a soulmate or just as a best friend.. I'm the most comfortable around him and things are always fun between us, I've had boyfriends and breakups and he was always there for me to make me feel better and whenever I'm hurt he cheers me up and makes me forget about it.

So I don't know what I'm really feeling towards him because I don't want our friendship to change but I also don't see us as anything more than two very close people that flirt with each other (I know that sounds kinda weird 🤣 but I'm not entirely sure about what kind of feelings I have for him). All I know is that it would break my heart to lose him and that I'm not going to find someone else that I get along with so perfectly (or maybe I'm just thinking that right now because I haven't found "the one").
