Are there different types of contractions??

I hope this isn’t a dumb question 😅 I know that all contractions are uterine but can you feel them other places? Because I get Braxton Hicks and besides feeling in obviously in my womb, I’ll also feel pressure and pain in my cervix and down my thighs. Am I trippin? lol I didn’t really experience many contractions with my first pregnancy (I didn’t even get to labor) but I did feel my cervix open so I’m familiar with that discomfort, everything is a little new this time around though lol
