Bleeding after rough sex help..

So after a week me and my partner had sex and it was a very rough session. I have been bleeding ever since almost like spotting, but today I noticed that I was having a tint of brown runny discharge. I am now wondering whether that is something to be concerned of or is this normal? When I had sex I was on the last day of my period, so I am not sure whether this is vaginal bleed due to the rough sex or period blood..
