4c, Fine, Low Perosity hair

I just moved back to my home state from Ga. Georgia is really a beautiful place I haven’t seen so many black women with bEAUTIFUL natural hair in my life because where I am girls just wear weave. I also haven’t been around that many black people either because I went to school and lived in a predominantly white city so it was really a culture shock. But I learned a few things about natural hair living there and I really want to go natural but my hair is very thin. It has length, it’s past my shoulders but my hair is fine and I don’t know any products that can help with that. I’ve done a rice water treatment and I bought some Wild Growth but do any of y’all have any tips??

If your hair is naturally thin ( like mine) you just have to deal with it. Use products for fine hair, and beware is more prone to breaking. There is nothing you can do to change it. If your hair is thin because you didn't take good care of it, used tight hairstyles, etc, you can use natural products and keep good habits to promote healthy growth. I use shea moisture and deva curl products. I never do tight hairdos.

Use thicker oils to grow thicker hair. Make sure you sleep with a silk scarf/bonnet & invest in a good satin/silk pillow case as well to prevent breakage. When using rice water, make sure you wash it out b/c it’ll make your hair brittle.
