Storing breast milk in bottle

It's been a while since I've done this. I expressed milk for my daughter yesterday because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to breast feed her after her hospital appointment. I poured it into a bottle and it was in an ice bag with ice packs. I know I can store in there for a day and the milk will be fine. We were out for about 8 hours, the milk was untouched and I put it back in the fridge. Will it last any longer in the bottle or should I just throw it?
