What should I do? Am I in the wrong?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years. We are young but not to young. We got together when I was 15 he was 16, now I am 18 about to be 19 and he’s 19 about to be 20. He refuses to talk about anything in our potential future. I always bring up engagement and talk about how our future kids may look or names I like and he seems to get agitated. No I’m not looking to have a kid anytime soon but I do feel as though I’m ready to be engaged. And I know it’s not up to me it’s more when he is ready but it’s been 3 years and he hasn’t said anything about it. What should I do? Am I in the wrong for being upset?
