I’m 13 weeks and 5 days pregnant and have had severe sickness since around 7 weeks, the last 4 weeks have been extreme and it is such a struggle to keep any food / drink at all down all day. Due to dehydration I was put on cyclazine which worked for a few days and then the sickness came back in force as they stopped working. I have now been given Phenergan - Promethazine Hydrochloride to take at night, I have taken these the last two days and felt a lot better but these tablets are used also for sedation! (They knock me out and it says on the box used for sedation) Surely this can’t be good for my baby? I read online these are Grade C, which doesn’t mean they are entirely safe. Has anyone had the same medication and have any experiences they can share?
