Anyway, I moved from NC to florida and ever since then, i haven’t had any guy friends. i had the opportunity to chill with a guy friend, so i said sure, and i took my girlfriend as well, and we spent the night. we went to the beach, etc. just had fun. Anyway, i told my mom i would be home in the morning. I woke up at around 10, and we decided to go get iHop. My mom starts to text me and says “you said you would be home this morning. you and your girlfriend are grounded because you’re liars.”

i live with my mom, and i love her. Me and my girlfriend are both 18, and my girlfriend doesn’t live with us.. I get it’s her house and her rules but i’m trying to explain to her i didn’t mean to lie to her the way i did. And she found out i smoked marijuana once and she believes im a failure because of it. I feel like she thinks i am doing hardcore drugs. I’m in college as well.... I just don’t know.
