PCOS - anyone else?

Hi everyone,

Looking for ladies who can relate / give advice.

I’m 23 and my periods have stopped for 7 months now. I went to see a gynaecologist who did some blood tests and an ultrasound. She diagnosed me with PCOS... although the ultrasound showed nothing. The blood results showed relatively high testosterone and androgen levels.

She gave me a short course of progesterone to induce my period - but since then no natural periods still.

I’ve also been started on metformin to help with any underlying insulin resistance.

I wanted to know whether anyone has been on this boat and whether their periods returned? I’m very worried that I’m not ovulating and I will struggle getting pregnant.
