Help?

Alright so recently I’ve been trying to get comfortable with getting fingered by my boyfriend. I understand how all virgins feel pain the first time when something is inserted in there but for some reason I just can’t. Like I don’t know what to do in order for it not to hurt. It’s literally just a finger and I’m usually wet when he does it & I searched up that I might need more lube or whatever but is there any other way I can solve this problem? Like I want to try tampons but honestly everything hurts and it’s kind of irritating not being able to feel good :( any advice on how you guys solved this?
