Anyone ever had sex 10 days after giving birth?

Has anyone ever had sex after the first week. I seriously want to be intimate again with my partner it feels like it's been forever. Was it safe enough?

You have a giant scab in your uterus healing from where your placenta was. You’re at a huge risk for hemorrhaging, infection and pregnancy. Doctors advise 6 weeks. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There are other ways to be intimate then sex. Like someone else said you are at risk of infection cause you still have a wound. I wouldn't risk it even if you feel good.

You can end up with a bad infection. Your body needs time to heal.

I wouldn’t!! I didn’t wait the full 6 weeks, but 10 days is really early!!!

I waited 14 days once. Horrible idea. My stitches didn’t even dissolve by this point 🤣 
Perfect time to have some fun and explore other  ways to be sexual.

I wouldn’t risk it, just wait until your doctor or midwife clears you at your postpartum checkup. You have a high risk of not only pregnancy but infection. It will probably be uncomfortable also since everything is still healing but obviously it’s your decision.

I did so at 2 weeks pp but I was done bleeding and I didn’t tear during both labors. It’s risky because your cervix isn’t healed and you’re introducing bacteria to your uterus.
