Yeast infections

I ended up with a yeast infection about 10 days ago. I started a 3 day monistat and my last day was xmas night. I called my OB because I had no relief and due to lack of itching I thought maybe it was BV instead. She had me come in and tested and it came back it was in fact a stubborn yeast infection and she said I needed to do a 7 day cream monistat due to that working best with pregnant women, tonight mark's 3rd day on it and still no relief of the uncomfortablness. It literally feels like I have a dry tampon in 😒 I know it takes 7 days whether I do 1, 3 or 7 day monistat but you would think doing the 3 day monistat then 2 days later then starting the 7 day I would feel some sort of relief by now.
